TEACH YOUR PROSPECTS INTERNET AND NETWORK MARKETING STRATEGIES… FREE
Friday, March 6, 2009 at 01:17AM It is a common belief that teachers don’t make a lot of money. That’s true if you are a public school teacher. But public school teachers could be making a lot more if they knew how to use the power of the Internet to never think about money again.(I'm not referring to those who already do that).
But what if you are not a teacher and you have a different educational background. Well, ask any sales person what we do on a daily basis from our birth on, and they will say that all we do is selling. Not only that. I believe that we constantly teach each other regardless of our educational background. Babies teach their parents how to wake up in the middle of the night by crying; parents can teach their kids without words how to start smoking or drinking. We constantly teach each other either on purpose or without one, either with words or behavior. We choose people to imitate them or we teach them how imitate us. We constantly do that… for free!
In real life, I noticed one thing. I became attractive to people who know that I know something they don’t. They come to me thanks to the knowledge that can solve their problems. I am a linguist and foreign languages teacher by education and an interpreter/translator by profession. I am a valuable person to those people who do not or poorly know English. My second profession is Internet and network marketing, and I am a valuable resource to those who want to do what I do - make money through marketing. I’ve just mentioned two areas of knowledge that I’m proficient in, and they are marketable and, thus, monetizable.
I’m sure you’re not any worse than me. I’m not Albert Einstein. I am an average person you can see on the street, in a supermarket, at an auto-shop, etc. And I’m sure you, too, know something some people don’t. And that knowledge is your asset that will allow others to be attracted to you like a magnet.
Knowledge (aka Information) is the best marketable product nowadays, because we live in the Information Age. Knowledge is something you can sell today having wrapped it in an attractive wrapping. If you know how to help people make extra money, free them from their boss, etc., don’t hide your knowledge from them. Teach them for free. Why? Because everyone else does it for money and loses?
Teaching is different than pitching. The purpose of teaching is to show people a way to solve their current problem or meet a need. The purpose of teaching is not a one-time sale. It is to create an atmosphere when a prospect is attracted to you and feels good about you as a professional. If you help people solve their problems once, they will continue coming to you for a solution. Does this mean you will have to always solve their problems for free? The answer is no. It’s the internal obligation people will feel toward you thanks to the free knowledge you had shared with them. This principle is called “teaching marketing”.
One of the best principles of attraction marketing is providing value to your prospects by educating them for free.
The main purpose of free education is building strong and lasting relationships with your prospects so they could be converted into your customers or downline members.

In order to get through the clutter of junk marketing courses that have flooded the Internet you have to put together a course or courses that will help your prospects solve their problem(s). Teach them how to make money online, how to start a home-based business, how to draw more traffic to their website, how to generate leads for their network marketing business, how to… It’s up to you. But do something for your prospects for free in order to help them see you as a professional who is not in need for prospects, but who prospects are in need for. Become a consultant, become a personal trainer, become a coach, become a teacher, become a guru… The more you know, the more valuable you are. The more valuable you are, the more attractive you are. The more attractive you are, the more people you can help. The more problems you can solve, the more money you will make.
