Why Renegade Network Marketer?
Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 11:57PM It is not a secret any more that the network marketing raised more millionaires than any other industry. But at the same time, it is the industry that caused the most frustration, disappointment and loss of hope in most people that ever joined it. Today, there are tens of thousands of current and former network marketers who are disappointed with the business they once joined hoping to build a better future for themselves and their families. Why? Is it the industry that fails? Is it the network marketers that do not do what they are supposed to do to succeed? The answer is: no. Most network marketers fail, because they do exactly what their uplines tell them to. Strange, isn't it? Not at all.
Nowadays, one can see more and more web sites created by people who claim the network marketing system to be the biggest scam that ripped them off, that brought financial disaster into their lives. I myself am still amazed at how I've been able to keep my motivation and belief in the system after so many failures and losses. And this is not because my spirit is strong I still believe in the system. At some point in the past I decided to never have anything to do with MLM. I literally thought I was not created for network marketing and it was not created for me. We just mismatched.
So I decided to self-educate in the financial area and started reading the books of 'my remote teacher' Robert Kiyosaki. After having read his "Rich Dad Poor Dad" I thought: "God, my mentality, my mindset have been upside down all these years of my life". That's because nobody ever taught me those simple principles of success. Nobody told me that I was that rat that tried to finish his race. And nobody told me that after finishing my rat race I would still be a rat.
Later, I bought another book by Mr. Kiyosaki in which he recommends to start a network marketing business. I was shocked! I thought there must be something wrong with the man. How can he, an author of bestsellers, be so serious about it! Years later, that is in 2008 I read another author, Robert Allen, who specifically wrote about creating multiple income streams, one of which is MLM.
Then I said to myself: "If these world-known people do not neglect this type of business and even recommend it as an easy-to-start venture for an average Joe, then I should reconsider my participation in it."
I started researching new opportunities to make my MLM business work. And I came across Ann Sieg's eBook "The Renegade Network Marketer." This book was the last grain of salt on my wound. I decided not to wait any longer, because I found the remedy I was missing for so many years - I joined The Renegade team.
Let me tell you why. It would be no exaggeration to say that Ann Sieg's eBook revolutionized my life, as it did many others. I realized that what I was doing as an MLMer was neither networking nor marketing. What do you think? Is it called networking when you chase prospects, when you bother them with your phone calls as they eat dinner with their family? Or is it marketing? Neither. But my upline has never told me that the system we were using was a totally wrong approach to marketing, because his upline never had, and his upline's upline never ever taught their downlines to try something different.
The old marketing system is like a cancerous tumor that caused much harm in the lives of both network marketers and their customers/prospects. The latter in their majority always try to avoid meeting with marketer-chasers. The hunter-prey type of relationship never leads to success, because their interests are different. They have nothing in common. That is why every time I hear those old-fashioned sales pitches I chuckle. They're fake and not trustworthy.
Here are some benefits that I found in The Renegade Network Marketer:
- Being yourself and not faking others - believability
- It is possible to build long-term relationships with your prospects, even if they will not join your team
- Being a true consultant for your prospects, not just a salesperson
- It is possible to become a person people are attracted to, not escape from
- It is possible to become a professional faster that in the old system
- There is no cold market, no warm market. With Renegade the market is always hot
- Education marketing vs. old system's sales-pitch-marketing
- The magic of the Internet marketing
- Don't have to be technically savvy to start using the system
- Clear and easy-to-follow (click-by-click) set up instructions
- Success - tracking system
- Easy - free - lead generation vs. expensive - for many unaffordable - lead purchasing
- Making money while prospecting vs. wasting money while chasing prospects
- Universal marketing system applicable to all types of businesses, not only MLM
These are just a few benefits that I think are very crucial for any business, whether you're an independent distributor or a pet store owner, a lawyer or financial advisor.
